Around 1903, several alternatives improved of the Folding Kodak N° 1a were proposed to the amateurs. The shutter and lens part came miscellaneous manufacturers, which seems to indicate that Kodak sold some bodies not equipped.
Folding camera Pocket Kodak 1a - L. Gaumont & Compagnie, N° 157. The regulator speeds is identical to those of the Bloc-Notes. Lens “Anast. Zeiss 1: 9 F: 125 m/m Bte SGDG - E. KRAUSS Paris N° 30174.”
